Greigh Joseph

Performance Numbers:

L-Cone Agility – 7.47 seconds to 7.14 seconds

5-10-5 Agility – 4.5 seconds to 4.16 seconds

Power Clean – from 185 pounds to 275 pounds for one rep

Broad Jump – 9 feet 8 inches to 10 feet 1 inch

20 Yard Dash – 2.79 seconds to 2.49 seconds

From Coach Lane:

I chose to feature Greigh as our athlete of the month because he is an incredibly hard worker.  He comes in three days per week at 630am in the morning which demonstrates such commitment at such a young age.  After school he works a part-time job.  He’s able to juggle work, school and training as a young athlete.  This type of work ethic will certainly serve him well as he continues his athletic and academic career.

Greigh is an extremely respectful young man and a great listener in the training groups.  It’s great to have an intellectual athlete in the groups – he thinks about what we are doing and the why behind it.  This will help him as he continues to develop as an athlete.  Greigh has tons of raw athletic potential.  I’ve seen him go from 185 for sets and reps on power cleans to doing 265 for sets and reps over the course of three months. With his leadership style, he leads by example and willing to sacrifice time and energy to improve. I am looking forward to seeing him play football in August and be an impact player for his team.

From Greigh:

I have seen improvements in all aspects of my game mostly in my agility and footwork.  I play B-Back for Starr’s Mill.   I enjoy the hands-on training and the fact that Lane goes very in-depth in his training.

The coaches are great.  They are always helping anyway they can and they make sure you on the right track. If I had to describe goperformance in three words, I would say – friendly, encouraging, helpful.

My dream to play football at the next level pushes me every morning to work harder than the day before. Currently my goals are just to keep improving at a steady pace, both in weightlifting and footwork.
