From Humble Beginnings to Fitness Excellence

Lane and Payden started goPerformance® in 2012 after moving to Peachtree City in 2008. Lane, a former college athlete, saw a need to create a space where both adults and athletes could train effectively and safely. Payden, with her background in communication and marketing, joined full-time a few years after the gym opened, leaving her corporate role to help run the business.

Lane's Journey:

As a former athlete, Lane’s passion for fitness stems from his performance-driven mentality. Over the years, he discovered that many clients experience pain not because of “what” they are doing, but “how” they are doing it. This realization drove him to dedicate countless hours to studying, earning certifications, and refining his coaching techniques to help adults fix pain, move better, and train optimally. Lane’s focus is on long-term health and empowering clients to train for years to come. When not in the gym, Lane enjoys spending time with his family and tackling house projects.

Payden's Journey:

Payden’s love for fitness began early, inspired by her mom, who prioritized health and fitness long before it became popular. Watching her mom’s dedication to working out and staying healthy left a lasting impression. In college, Payden stayed active and now values strength training for its anti-aging benefits and as a way to be a healthy role model for her children. Outside the gym, Payden enjoys marketing the business, connecting with clients, and creating healthy meals for her family while keeping up with her two energetic boys.

Running goPerformance® is meaningful to Lane and Payden because of the incredible people they get to know, support, and impact. They’ve built a community where clients and coaches thrive together, and that sense of connection makes every day rewarding.
