I am native of Fayette County and a graduate of McIntosh High School. I got into sports because it’s just what we did as cousins growing up.
I ran track in high school, played football and wrestled. I continued my athletic career as a Georgia Bulldog where I ran track as a decathlete.
Influencing and impacting youth is something I’m passionate about. I’m a full time teacher at Sandy Creek High School. In addition to teaching I assist with coaching at goPerformance. I’ve been training alongside Lane for more than ten years. It’s incredibly fulfilling to spend time with young athletes as they pursue their sport at the next level.
Being around the adult training clients is such a bonus to coaching here as many of them are dear friends.
I may have a reputation here as being “tough on you coach” but it’s truly because I care. When I’m not teaching or coaching, I’m dedicated to spending time with my three boys.

I was always involved in sports and outdoor activities when I was younger. It was a driving factor in my pursuit of health and fitness. When I had knee surgery at 14, it helped me gain perspective on the importance of rehabilitation, injury prevention and the fragility of the human body. Coaches in my life were always big influences growing up, and I knew I wanted to lead a career that helped others in a similar way. I enjoyed learning the transfer that health and fitness can have in all areas of life; mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional.
I love training athletes because I get to push, challenge, and encourage them to become better humans every day. I love seeing the excitement of an athlete hitting a new PR and striving to get better. Moreso, I love challenging an athlete to reach past their mental boundaries and achieve a goal they may have not deemed possible. They will carry that mindset with them the rest of their lives.
When it comes to training adults, I enjoy seeing the life change that occurs and helping adults make small changes that lead to big impacts. Helping others to feel better, stronger, and more resilient through everyday tasks motivates me to further my knowledge as a coach.
I chose a Masters in Nutrition because of food – the science of it, and the way it can impact your everyday life have always been an interest of mine. The more I became involved in fitness and training, the more I saw a present gap between nutrition and training. I chose to pursue nutrition in order to help bridge that gap. I seek to help take complex nutrition topics and create sustainable systems that help others lead healthier lives in and outside of the gym.
My wife, Jenna, and I love exploring all things new – new hikes, cities, local restaurants, and cafes. On my days off I utilize my creative outlet through woodworking and random house projects. At times you may find me sitting still as I read a book, watch a new movie, or drink coffee on the porch. However, at other times you may find me working on a project at 11 p.m. at night because “the night is still young” and I’m too determined to leave a project for tomorrow.

I am a Georgia native and I grew up playing football, basketball, and baseball. I began my fitness career journey when I was in college and helped my roomate lose 30 pounds. I really enjoyed helping people become better version of themselves.
I really enjoy helping athletes perpare themselves for the field or court. You get to be a small part of their athletic career which I think is awesome and rewarding.
I like working with adults because I get to build relationships and help them achieve their fitness goals and help them become healthier versions of themselves.
I wish all my clients knew that being patient and following the process is cruical for their success. There is no such thing as a quick fix.
When I am not coaching or training myself, I love to hang out with my family. My wife, Leslie, and I have two kids – a boy and a girl. We enjoy going to local breweries and pizza night is a staple at our house every Sunday. I also enjoy competing whether that’s a fitness competition or a pick up game of soccer or flag football.

I’m wife to Daniel, mom to Phoenix, Bravery, Saint, and Jax. We have lived in Trilith since 2019.
I fell in love with strength training 12 years ago. I just had my first baby, and needed something that was just for me. I loved how feeling strong physically spread to feeling strong in other areas of my life. I’ve often felt like the gym is my therapy! When covid happened and all the gyms closed, I started working out outdoors. Soon my neighbors started joining me! Through that experience, I decided to get my NASM certification and began training that year.
I love helping people get stronger, but also feel empowered to live their life feeling their best!
