From Thomas:

What do you enjoy the most about training at goperformance?
I enjoy the challenges that are presented to me in the classes.

What changes have you noticed since participating in the programs?
I have noticed an increase in my speed and strength, and I have noticed improvements in my running form.

Describe training at goperformance in three words?
Challenging but rewarding.

Name one performance goal you have for yourself in the next six months.
I want to increase my strength more.

From Coach Lane:

Thomas is our featured athlete because of his improvements. At first I wasn’t sure he wanted to be there. Regardless of that, he worked hard. His diligence and hard work showed me that he does enjoy coming and he is committed to our programs. Thomas’ attitude started to change the more he saw himself improving. In the past four weeks, he’s really started to peak and get significantly faster.

He’s is very coachable. He listens well to instruction. Thomas has improved on all our major strength movements like squats, split squats and cleans. In addition to improving his strength his change of direction is also much better.

He went from observing others in the class to actually being the one being observed. He’s improved his technique and understands the drills that I often use him as an example. When we play speed games, he carries over what we’ve been learning to the game. Often kids forget the drill we’ve been coaching when we put it in a game.  Thomas is an intellectual athlete and you can tell he’s putting it all together.

He’s fun to have in class. He’s got a great dry sense of humor and he likes to keep me on my toes. I like that about Thomas.
